Posting Comments

We cannot tell you how much it means to us to have the visitors to this site leave comments about Dad; we know he had an impact on so many lives, but to have that confirmed through a perusal of your wonderful comments gives us great joy.

Some people have expressed confusion with the process of leaving a posted comment - it's not terribly obvious, so here's a short tutorial:

1) Go to the bottom of the entry you'd like to leave a comment for (entries are each section with bold-faced, large lettered titles);

2) Click on "Comments" as if you were wanting to read the other comments left by other people (the "Comments" link is likely another color);

3) To the left of the page you reach through that link is an empty field where you can input and post text, as well as read what others have written.

Thanks again!

Hey Brian, It's been a while. This blog is amazing! Such a wonderful tribute to your dad. My favorite picture by far is the one of your parents dancing. We are going to need to find out if your mom still has that yellow dress! Lisa and I are going to look for some pictures to send to you. Thanks for putting this together and for sharing it with everyone.

Dear Susan, and Brian and Patrick,
We have such fond memories of Roger. Don and I sat beside him at the cayuco race here in Panama when Patrick was paddling. We liked him immediately. He had a confidence and a sureness about him. He was very comfortable and content with his life. I did sense the cowboy spirit in him. He was a very nice, kind man and a caring and devoted husband and Dad. It was a pleasure to have known him. Don feels the same. We are very deeply touched by your loss of such a great man. Your memories will keep him cherished and alive forever. He will always be with you. He is already in Heaven with our Lord. This is a great comfort to those of us who remain. Our loved ones are already with the LORD.
IN LOVING MEMORY OF ROGER.
Love and prayers,
Don and Marsha Kat

Hi Brian, Patrick and especially SUSAN!

"S'more" here, finally contributing to this great site!

While I didn't know your Dad that well, from what little contact I had with him, I was impressed/blessed w/ his easygoing, calming manner. He came across as both unassuming and yet a real ROCK of stability. I know he was a blessing to you all, the years you had him, and will be sorely missed.

God bless you, and hope to see you soon! :-)
